White Christmas Trek

Tour Itinerary of Chopta - Tungnath Trek :

Duration: 03 Nights / 04 Days
Destination: Delhi - Haridwar - Chopta - Tungnath - Chopta - Haridwar - Delhi

Day 01: (23 Dec 2011) : Delhi - Haridwar / Overnight Train
Evening meet at railway station and board overnight train (Mussoorie Exp, ETD - 23:55 Hrs Delhi, ETA - 04:00 Hrs Haridwar). Overnight: Train.

Day 02: (24 Dec 2011) : Haridwar - Chopta (240 km / 7-8 hrs)
Arrive early morning in Haridwar and drive further to reach Chopta (240 km) via Devpryag and Rudrapryag. Arrive Chopta and check into Lodge / Tents. Overnight: Lodge / Camp.

Day 03: (25 Dec 2011) : Chopta - Tungnath (3680 m) - Chopta (Trek)
Morning, after breakfast begin 4 km steep trek to reach 1000 year old Tungnath temple. A further climb of half a kilometer takes one to almost 4130 m for the most breathtaking view of the high Himalayas from Chandrashila Peak (4130 m). Climb down to Chopta in the afternoon. Evening - we spend at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp. Overnight: Lodge / Camp.

Day 04: (26 Dec 2011) : Chopta - Deoria Tal - Haridwar / Overnight Train
Early morning trek to Deoria Tal that would take 1 to 2 hrs. Later drive to Haridwar. Upon arrival in Haridwar board the overnight train to Delhi (Mussoorrie Exp, ETD - 23:10 Haridwar, ETA - 08:35 Delhi).
Tour ends on arrival in Delhi.

Cost of the Trip: Our cost for the above tour is Rs. 7500 Per Person plus Service Taxes.

• Train Ticket from Delhi - Haridwar & from Haridwar - Delhi
• Complete transportation from Haridwar - Haridwar.
• Complete trekking arrangements with English speaking guide and all meals from day 02 to day 04.
• Wildlife Entry Fees.
